ISAIC (Industrial Sewing And Innovation Center) Marketing & Rebranding

At ISAIC, I progressed from a Marketing Intern to Graphic Design Specialist, taking on a leading role in the organization’s marketing, visual communications, and creative direction. I led a company-wide brand refresh and designed a new website while overseeing social media 1, event materials, media communications, and other creative initiatives to create a cohesive and accessible brand experience.

Marketing & Design

ISAIC (Industrial Sewing And Innovation Center), is a pioneering Detroit-based nonprofit and national resource for advanced soft-goods manufacturing.

In the fall of 2024, I joined ISAIC as a Marketing Intern, where I quickly developed a comprehensive understanding of the organization, its mission, and the evolving landscape of advanced manufacturing. Following a restructuring of the organization’s marketing team, I transitioned into a leading role, overseeing ISAIC’s marketing and visual communications.

In this role, I managed a wide range of creative and communications initiatives, including social media strategy and content, media and press materials, event management, video and motion graphics, website design, branding, and graphic design. I worked across both digital and physical platforms to develop cohesive visual communications that represented ISAIC’s mission and growing impact.

The 2025 Impact Report is one example of this work, bringing together ISAIC’s accomplishments, programs, partnerships, and impact into a comprehensive visual publication.

Rebrand & Web Design

Following the completion of my internship, I transitioned into a promoted role as ISAIC’s Graphic Design Specialist. One of my first major projects was leading a visual refresh of the organization’s brand, including updates to its color palette, visual language, and messaging. Using this refreshed identity as a foundation, I designed and developed an entirely new website for ISAIC. After exploring multiple design directions and establishing the site’s overall structure and user flow, I spent several weeks translating the updated brand into a cohesive digital experience. The final website brings together ISAIC’s programs, services, events, resources, and organizational information in one centralized platform. 3. The redesign focused on creating a more cohesive visual identity while improving navigation and accessibility for both new visitors and those already familiar with the organization.

Overall, although I was only working with ISAIC for two years, I feel that my impact was pivotal to where they are today. I feel confident that the work I completed there will be utilized for a long period of time and I am grateful for how I was able to grow in this position and move onto my next projects.
