Grosse Pointe "Fresh Takes" Art Competition

In the Spring of 2023, Grosse Pointe News opened up a submission to all residents of Michigan, 18 years and older, to enter a sneaker art competition called "Fresh Takes". Out of all of the submissions, Avery won 1st place for her sneaker art that focused on themes of ancient Japanese art. Her artwork, "Serendipity" won her a spot in the newspaper catalogue and $1,000 in prize money!
